Whilst taking time to bring up a family, she developed a passion for gardens which led to studying with the School of Garden Design, where she achieved her diploma with distinction. This was then followed by a series of projects with the renowned rose grower David Austin, in Albrighton, Wolverhampton, which led to designing medal winning gardens for Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court RHS Show and Tatton Park RHS Show, together with gardens in England, France and Australia. Ann is now a member of the leading UK professional body for garden design, the Society of Garden Designers.

'I create bold structural, gardens that are softened with full planting. A client’s tastes and requirements together with the setting of the site within the landscape make each garden individual. Essentially it is your garden that I design, be it a sleek minimalist space, period garden or an informal eclectic haven. They are gardens for living and not weekend makeovers.'

Our Garden Design service has many satisfied clients in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and in Mid Wales.

The studio has been based in Shropshire for fifteen years and has links with many Shropshire nurseries to provide planting. We also do a lot of work in the surrounding areas of Staffordshire, Cheshire and Mid Wales.
